Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
This was a day filled with great anticipation! Some of our explorers arrived at the Erie Playhouse dressed as their favorite princess. We started with a backstage tour prior to the show. While the cast was warming up, we snuck backstage. We talked about what props are, then we walked upstairs to sneak a peek at the dressing rooms. We learned about how they keep those microphones on! We also learned that there are a lot of other jobs you can do in a theater besides acting in the play. We found out how much time it takes to be in a play and how many days off of school you get for performances!
After the tour, we saw the actual play. At the end of the performance we met with the cast and they signed our programs.
