Explorers toured Troyer Farms on May 22, 2007

We learned:

  • Troyer Farms Snack Food produces potato chips, pretzels, popcorn, tortilla chips and cheese puffs.
  • Troyer Farms is the only U.S. manufacturer of potato chips that grows its own potatoes.
  • The factory processes between six and seven tons of potatoes every hour.
  • The Ice Age left behind the rich nutrients in which potatoes grow.
