Why Start a Chapter in Your City?

It's not just another group
The focus is on the interaction between parents and their children and making experiences together fun.
On Vacation or Traveling? You're welcome to attend any field trips, ANYWHERE
Any family from one chapter is encouraged to attend trips in another. Simply make whatever reservations necessary (if required) or show up to the field trip if a reservation isn't required. Even though an introductory reservation isn't required, it is nice to do and will help with meeting people there.
There is plenty of cool stuff
Ever try to buy a shirt or something with a logo printed on it? It is harder and more expensive than some people may think--we found out the hard way. It is extremely expensive and sometimes even impossible to place small orders. That is no longer a problem.

Starting an Explorer Chapter is Easy.

How do you do it?

First tell us that you would like to start a chapter in your city by contacting us.

Your chapter will take on the name of your city, followed by "Explorers". The founders have recently relocated to Portland, Maine where they soon hope to have a Portland Explorers group up and running.

Once the chapter is approved, we will help promote the group by announcing it on erieexplorers.com

How do members sign up in your chapter?
New members that sign up will choose which chapter they would like to belong to when they complete the membership form.

Do you need to know a lot of people or have a lot of friends?

No! That's what Erie Explorers is for!
The purpose of Erie Explorers is to enable parents to actively learn with their children and nurture new friendships. You'll meet people that you have a lot in common with.
