Family Fun on New Year's Eve
I grew up having a special family dinner out and then coming home for "Family Dance Night." Our family would dance to any upbeat tune from the 50s - 80s (OK, so I'm dating myself) while we waited for the ball to drop in Times Square.
I am trying to continue the tradition with my girls now. Last year, we went to a "fancy" dinner at Aoyama dressed to the nines in animal prints, boas, and "fancy" hats. When we came home, we played old records and danced (for about 15 minutes until they were all too tired). I was the only one that lasted until the ball dropped.
